1-4PM Word after Word: A Writing Workshop with Stacy Gardner
Stacy Gardner is excited to return a second time as a 'workshop facilitator', for the 14th Annual Women's Work Festival. Stacy had the good fortune in 2019, to participate as a playwright, and to have Megan Gail Coles as dramaturge.

What does winter's ragged hands, drift and 'I remember' have in common?

No, not #stormageddon2020 - though, understood if that's the tunnel you want to excavate in this 3-hour workshop!

They are in fact, creative writing exercises of the unconscious, learned from mentors like Judith Thompson, Sarah Selecky and Stuart Ross. The outcome, an abandonment of inhibition so that each person may leave with first drafts of a monologue, a poem, and an adventure.

To avoid the clickety-clack of keyboards, please bring your favourite notebook and pen(s), as this is a writing workshop, not an editing one, we will leave the critic and backspace button out of THIS! Make room for 'your words' at the 14th Annual Women's Work Festival 2020 - we are excited to welcome you to our 'theatrical home'.

The cost of this workshop is $15 per person and it can be paid in advance by e-transfer to womensworkfestivalnl@gmail.com or in cash at the workshop.
