Welcome to the Women’s Work Festival

Call for volunteers: 2026 festival

Preparations for the 20th Annual Women’s Work Festival are in full swing - and we’re looking for extra hands to help bring the vision to life!

From setting and striking readings, to making coffee for performers, to manning the door, spending time volunteering at the festival is an excellent opportunity to see new plays in progress, learn new skills, and connect with new people in our community, all while supporting our mission to uplift the voices of under-heard artists in Newfoundland and Labrador theatre. We’d love for you to join us!

THANKS FOR SUPPORTING THE SEEDLINGS PROJECT!

In 2025, five emerging playwrights received mentorship through WWF + PARC's "The Seedlings Project" Playwriting Unit, culminating in three evenings of readings of plays in progress in St. John's.
