katy Warren

Picture

​Katy Warren (she/they) is a comedian and multimedia artist based in St. John's, Newfoundland. Over their 15-year improv career Katy has taught students of all ages, performed at festivals around the continent, and most recently began collaborating with St. John's Improv as an instructor and frequent performer. They are also the co-producer and co-host of The NewFunny Crowd, a monthly comedy variety show for under-platformed voices in comedy.

Mikaela Dyke

Raised in St John's, NL, Mikaela Dyke hais critically acclaimed for her work as a performer and writer in the Canadian theatre and comedy scene. 
Mikaela works extensively in comedy, and has performed in cabarets and comedy clubs in cities all over North America, including in New York, Orlando, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Toronto and St. John's. She's appeared at JFL42 in Toronto through showcases such as The Wonder Show and as a guest performer with top Canadian sketch troupe Tony Ho. Her film and television credits include Departure, Hudson & Rex, The Beaverton and a supporting role opposite Gord Downie and Slim Twig in the indie feature Sight Unseen. Mikaela wrote for the Canadian Comedy Award winning second season of Just Passing Through and created and starred in the brightly unsettling web series Good Morning, Tonight! produced by Circa 79 Pictures.
She has recently returned to St. John's to focus on creating more film and tv work and to explore the intersection of technology and live performance. You can catch her most recent work on the upcoming season three of Departure.
