​This class marks the very first gathering for the talented playwrights selected for our 2025 Playwriting Unit and is also a unique opportunity for the broader community to delve into the world of playwriting.

Meet your instructor

This introductory class will provide foundational knowledge and inspire creativity in aspiring playwrights of all levels. Whether you're looking to take your first steps in writing for the stage or are a writer from another discipline, this session will offer valuable insights. It's also a welcoming space for newcomers to learn about crafting stories for Canadian audiences.
Santiago Guzmán is an award-winning playwright, director, and actor, and the dedicated facilitator of The Seedlings Project Playwriting Unit.
