ANNUAL PERFORMANCE WALK

March 8, 11:15 pm - 12:30 pm
LSPU Hall (3 Victoria St. ), Elaine's Books (208 Duckworth St.), Johnny Ruth (183 Water St.), Breakwater Books (263 Duckworth St.), and Anna Templeton Centre (278 Duckworth St.)

Celebrate International Women’s Day with our annual Performance Walk! We’ll gather at the Second Space at LSPU Hall (3 Victoria St.) beginning at 10am, and depart together at 11:15am to enjoy short performances by Robyn Breen, Thiviya Kana, Nicole Haldoupis, Natasha Blackwood, and Zaynab Wilson, hosted by local downtown businesses. .


​UPDATE: To keep everyone in from the rain we're moving the performance walk into the Second Space at LSPU Hall (3 Victoria St.). It will still begin at 11:15. The Women's Work Fair will continue as planned at the Anna Templeton Centre. Tell your friends! 🌧

​Conversation with a 'let's get coffee' approach to industry connection. This event provides a valuable space for artists, especially emerging, IBPOC artists, newcomers to Canada looking to break into the arts scene, to network and build connections within the St. John's theatre community. Featuring Santiago Guzmán (Todos Productions), Mallory Clarke (Rising Tide Theatre), Ruth Lawrence (Independent), and Dana Puddicomb - NL Comedy Initiative (Sketchfest).

Writers' Salons

Salons are an open space for playwrights, poets, and writers to gather and work in a communal setting, with provided coffee, tea, and snacks. Each session will begin with a prompt to spark your creativity. No pressure. No expectations. Only you, your cup of coffee or tea and a peaceful space to write.
