Learning, Sharing, and Building Community

"Everyone was very kind and accommodating. It was great to meet new people and share ideas."
- Laura Caswell
The 2025 Women’s Work Festival offered more than performances—it was a space of growth, mentorship, and celebration. Our workshops and special events brought together artists, cultural workers, and community members for hands-on learning, thoughtful dialogue, and joyful connection.

From grant-writing intensives and dramaturgy workshops to conversations on caregiving, audience engagement, and pitching new works, this year’s programming supported artists at all stages of their creative journey. Whether gathering over coffee chats or exploring feminist perspectives in theatre, participants embraced the festival’s spirit of generosity and collaboration.

Discover highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, and reflections from the vibrant events that made this year unforgettable.

"The Women’s Work Festival provided a wonderful, welcoming environment to create in. I was able to take a huge leap forward with my play, “Waiting for Her,” and I was so grateful to get to do so in the company of an incredible, supportive group of artists. I would highly recommend the Festival to anyone!"
